Who we are

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through a form on this site. Depending on the form, that may include:

• Your name and the name of your business or location
• Your phone number and email address
• The city and ZIP of the location you are asking about
• Details about the location: type of business, daily foot traffic, available space
• Your current vending provider and what is not working, if you are asking about switching
• Any product shortlist or notes you add
• The page you submitted from, and the date and time of submission

We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, government identification numbers, or any other sensitive personal information through this website.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, assess whether a placement is a fit for your location, and communicate with you about it. That is the whole purpose. We do not use it for anything else.

How we store it

Form submissions are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted in Google's us-central1 region in Iowa. Access is restricted to the owner of Chroma Oasis. The website is served by Firebase Hosting over HTTPS.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. The only third parties who process it are the service providers that make the site work — principally Google (Firebase Hosting and Firestore) — and they process it on our instructions. We will disclose information if we are legally required to.

Communications and text messages

If you tick the consent box on a form, you agree that we may contact you about your request by phone, text message or email. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or ask us to stop contacting you by emailing barsha@chromaoasis.com. We do not use your number for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run cross-site tracking. If you use the product shortlist on our stock list page, your selections are saved in your own browser's local storage on your device. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you submit the form.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our dealings with a location, and then delete them. If you would like your information removed sooner, email us and we will do it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email barsha@chromaoasis.com and we will respond. Texas residents may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act.

Children

This site is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
