Medical, dental & clinics
Two audiences. One machine. No cost.
Patients waiting longer than they expected, and staff who have not eaten since seven. An open-door cooler serves both without looking like a vending machine in a clinical space.
Founded by a nurse
We know this setting from the inside.
Barsha started her career as an RN and moved into medical logistics. Chroma Oasis exists partly because of a hospital vending machine that kept eating items and kept eating change — the kind of small, constant irritation that everyone in a clinical building learns to work around.
That background shapes how we approach medical placements. Staff in a clinic do not get a relaxed lunch hour; they get a gap. Patients are frequently there longer than anyone promised, sometimes fasting, sometimes with children, sometimes for hours. Those are two very different needs sharing one waiting room.
It also shapes the stock. A machine full of candy in a dental office is a running joke at the practice's expense. We would rather build a mix that matches the setting.
What we stock in clinics
Restrained, on purpose.
Water, still & sparkling
The default request in every medical setting, from every audience.
Juice & glucose
For patients who have been fasting, and for anyone who stood up too fast.
Staff lunch
Boxed salads, sandwiches, yogurt, fruit. Eaten in ten minutes, standing.
Protein & coffee
The double shift category. Cold brew outsells everything after 2pm.
OTC basics
Pain relievers, wipes, phone chargers — the things people forget.
Something for children
Optional, and worth deciding deliberately rather than by default.
Worth knowing
Three things specific to clinical settings.
You control the mix, tightly
Plenty of practices ask us to exclude candy and sugary drinks entirely, and dental offices almost always do. That is a normal request, not a difficult one — tell us the rules and we will stock to them.
Fasting patients need signage
If your practice does procedures requiring patients to fast, the machine needs to be positioned and signed with that in mind. We will work it out with you at the site visit rather than leaving it to chance.
It does not look like vending
A compact open-door cooler reads much closer to a retail fridge than a glass-front machine with a keypad. In a waiting room that difference matters more than it sounds.
FAQ
Practice manager questions.
Yes, and many practices do. You set the boundaries and we stock inside them. Dental offices in particular usually want sugar kept out of the waiting area, which is completely reasonable.
It can be either or both, and the answer changes where it goes. A waiting-room placement serves patients; a break-room placement serves staff and lets you stock differently. If you want both, we will talk through whether one machine in the right spot covers it.
No. Machine, delivery, installation, stocking, cleaning and repairs are ours. You provide a few square feet and a standard outlet.
It is a refrigeration unit, so it is not silent, but it is a low steady hum rather than a compressor kicking loudly on and off. If your waiting room is unusually quiet, raise it at the site visit and we will position it accordingly.
Who we place with
